Tetsunori Tawaraya is a Japanese musician and artist, best known as the guitarist and vocalist for the noise punk band 2up (up up) and for his graphic art. Tawaraya is originally from Miyagi Prefecture; after spending time in San Diego, CA, he is currently based in Tokyo, Japan. He started drawing portraits of people and musicians in San Diego in the late 1990s, and prolifically created sci-fi/experimental graphic novels. His San Diego-based band “Dmonstrations” was active until 2007 and toured extensively. His grotesque yet vivid artistic vision has been highly acclaimed across generations. He has partnered with publishers such as Colour Code, Hollow Press, and Le Dernier Cri to publish books featuring screen prints, and risograph. He has also collaborated with several apparel brands, and his work has been widely praised.

俵谷 哲典は日本のミュージシャン兼アーティストであり、ノイズ・パンク・バンド「2up（アップ・アップ）」のギタリスト兼ボーカリストとして、またグラフィック・アーティストとして最もよく知られている。宮城県出身で、カリフォルニア州サンディエゴでしばらく生活したのち、現在は東京を拠点としている。90年代後半、サンディエゴにて人々やミュージシャンの肖像画を描き始め、SF的で実験的なグラフィックノベルを精力的に制作した。サンディエゴを拠点とした彼のバンド「Dmonstrations」（デモンストレーションズ）は、2007年まで活動し、ツアーも行っていた。彼のグロテスクでありながら鮮やかな芸術的ビジョンは、世代を超えて高く評価されている。彼はColour Code、Hollow Press、Le Dernier Criといった出版社と提携し、シルクスクリーンやリソグラフを用いた書籍を出版している。また、いくつかのアパレルブランドともコラボレーションを行っており、その作品は広く称賛されている。
